Ethics & Affiliate Policy
The rules this site operates under. They are versioned, public, and boring on purpose.
The six rules
- Rankings cannot be bought. No paid placement, no sponsored positions, no "featured" slots sold to manufacturers.
- Scores come from public data. Editorial scores are built from manufacturer documentation, warranty terms, parts pricing, SDK docs and public reliability reporting — never from private deals or first-person claims we can't back.
- Commercial status is disclosed, always. No affiliate programs are currently active. All outbound links go to official manufacturer sites. If a program is activated, the link, the relationship, and the rel="sponsored" attribute all change together — and it's disclosed here.
- Affiliate income never touches scores. Score logic and commercial logic live in separate files by design. A partnered robot gets no scoring benefit.
- Discontinued products stay listed. Bricked and abandoned robots remain visible as buyer warnings. The industry's failures are part of the buying decision.
- No dark patterns. No fake urgency, no countdown timers, no invented discounts, no email capture walls.

Affiliate status
Current status: no affiliate programs active. This site currently earns nothing. Every "Visit" link goes to the manufacturer's official homepage with rel="noopener noreferrer". If affiliate partnerships are approved in future, this page will list every partnered brand, and partnered links will carry rel="sponsored".
Corrections
If a price, spec, warranty term or policy on this site is wrong or out of date, report it via the BestMatch Group contact route. Verified corrections are applied at the next data pass and noted in the data-verified date.
