Best Robot Match (bestrobotmatch.com) is a static comparison site. There are no user accounts, no forms that store what you type, and no sale of personal data.

Who we are

Best Robot Match is the robotics member of the BestMatch Group, a BoonMind Labs company. The pages are static HTML hosted on Netlify. Questions about this policy go to the contact page.

What this site collects

Directly: nothing you have to hand over. There is no account, newsletter, comment box, or contact form. The match engine runs in your browser. The answers you pick stay on the page and are not submitted to a server.

Automatically, as with any hosted website: Netlify processes standard server logs — IP address, user-agent, and request time — to deliver the pages and protect the site.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Google Consent Mode. Before you make a choice, GA4 may send cookieless measurement pings with analytics and advertising storage denied, and no analytics cookies are set. If you choose 'Allow analytics', GA4 sets first-party analytics cookies that expire after 60 days, and advertising signals stay off. If you choose 'Reject', GA4 stops immediately and nothing further is sent to Google. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, GA4 is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time using the 'Change analytics choice' link in the site footer.

Before you make a choice, Google Analytics may send basic cookieless signals (such as the page viewed and a click on a maker link). These don't set cookies and aren't used to identify you, although, as with any web request, your IP address and browser type reach Google. Google uses them to estimate total traffic. If you choose Reject, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is sent.

We do not send names, emails, the text you type, or the full address of the maker link you click (only its domain). Your IP address is sent to Google so the request can be delivered; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Data may be processed in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension. We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalisation. Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) is used to count page views and clicks on maker “Visit” buttons, so we can see which comparisons are useful. It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> that expire after 2 months, and we keep analytics reports for 2 months.

Cookies and local storage

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected: if your browser sends either signal, Google Analytics is never loaded.

The choice is stored in this browser under the key bm-ga4-consent-v1. Analytics cookies are set only after you choose Allow analytics, and they expire after 2 months.

Your browser also keeps two preferences on the device, and only there: robots-theme (light or dark mode) and robots-cmp-mode (Simple or Advanced comparison tables).

This site does not run advertising pixels or social-media trackers.

Third-party services

A "Visit" link leaves this site for the manufacturer's own website. Those sites have their own privacy policies. The click can be counted here in Google Analytics 4 (maker domain only) if you allowed analytics, or as a cookieless signal before you choose. What happens after you arrive is the manufacturer's business.

Affiliate disclosure

Energize Lab Visit links may earn a commission. Eilik Visit buttons are affiliate links, disclosed on the ethics page. Other outbound product links go to the manufacturer's official site. A commercial relationship does not change a score or a ranking.

Robot privacy scores

Your rights

There is no account profile here to access, correct, or delete. Server logs are held by Netlify under its own policy. To ask about analytics or about this page, use the contact page.

Changes

If the site adds a form or affiliate tracking, or changes how analytics works, this page will be updated and re-dated before that change goes live.
